Prof. Dr. Mazda Adli is chief physician at the Fliedner Clinic Berlin and head of the Affective Disorders Research Unit at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He is the initiator of the Interdisciplinary Forum Neurourbanistics, which is one of the winners of the innovation competition „Excellent Landmarks in the Land of Ideas“ of the German Federal Government and the Federation of German Industries. In this collaborative project of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Alfred Herrhausen Society, the Technical University of Berlin and the Fliedner Clinic Berlin, scientists from different disciplines are conducting joint research on the topic of „Mental Health in the City“ for the first time. In 2019, he was awarded an extraordinary professorship by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
